When the guys from Sigma Poland suggested I review the Sigma 135mm F1.4 DG Art lens, they affectionately called it a 'monster' :) And it turns out they were right. A gigantic piece of glass at the front, every button and switch you could ever want, a tripod mount, and that aperture – f/1.4. Just to remind future generations: we’re talking about 135mm here.
But the real question is – is this a showcase of the Japanese Sigma engineers’ capabilities, or is it truly a valuable portrait lens?
